. Together they will discuss the physical, emotional, mental and financial battles those diagnosed face today, and a
new radiation technique aimed to maximize the quality of life for breast cancer patients.
The Canadian Association of Radiology Oncology and the Canadian Association of Medical Physicists host the public lecture during their first integrated annual scientific meeting at the
Sheraton Centre from October 9 to 13, 2007
. The joint conference themed,
“Image Guided and Adaptive Radiation Therapy”
has already drawn more than 650 attendees including radiation oncologists and residents, medical physicists and physics residents, radiation therapy technologists, scientists, allied health care professionals and industry representatives from Canada’s leading cancer care and research centers, hospitals and businesses.
